Selling on INNO

Are you a seller and looking for a platform to sell your products on? Then INNO might be for you! INNO offers an online marketplace for professional sellers. As a seller, you offer your products there, under their own name and for their own account. INNO monitors sales through the marketplace and facilitates communication between sellers and customers. INNO does not offer its own items in the marketplace, with the exception of Gift Cards. But what exactly is INNO? And what are the advantages of selling on INNO? What is Inno?

INNO is an originally Belgian department store that has been around since 1897, offering women's, men's and children's clothing, home and leisure items and much more. In addition to its physical stores, INNO also has a strong online presence. As a modern omnichannel retailer and marketplace, it can compete with other big names. 

What are the benefits of selling on the marketplace Inno? 

Would you like to create an account to start working through IMMO? Then you first go through a one-time verification process. This process goes though Stripe, IMMO's business partner that handles payments, and more. Among other things, you need to provide the following essential information:

  • Comany name
  • URL and name & address of your company 
  • Name and contact details of the director/owner/CEO or legal representative of your company
  • Type of business 
  • Chamber of Commerce number
  • VAT-number 

To register, you will also need some official documents. Send these only in image format jpg, jpeg, png, or PDF:

  • ID document. Copy the front and back of a valid identification document of the legal representative.
  • A recent bank account statement.
  • Business registration: recent document showing business registration.
  • Tax status: recent document showing your company's tax status. 

Once your information and the documents are found to be valid, your account is successfully registered. The next step is to create and set up your store in the IMMO environment.

Mandatory Product Attributes

INNO strives for uniform, clear and easy to find framing of products. To this end, a number of Mandatory Product Attributes (MPA), or mandatory product attributes, have been established. Some fields require both a French and Dutch version. These are IMMO's MPAs:

  • Product category: the category under which your product will appear.
  • SKU: this is your internal, unique product number.
  • EAN: the familiar 13-digit EAN code that each item has.
  • Brand: enter the brand or manufacturer of the product here. This will appear above the product name. You can select the appropriate brand name from a list of values.
  • Name: make sure your products are named as clearly as possible.The product name should not include the brand name, because the brand name will already appear separately above it. You are required to provide the name in both Dutch and French.

Mandatory Shop Fields

INNO also asks you to fill in some mandatory fields with information about your store, the Mandatory Shop Fields (MSF). Please note, all three fields require you to complete them in three languages: English, French and Dutch. These are INNO's three MSFs:

  • Shop description: the description of your business, including for example the USPs, something about the background and other characteristics.
  • Shipping and delivery policy: try to be as clear and complete as possible. For example, what delivery times can your customers expect, what costs do you charge, in which countries do you deliver, et cetera.
  • Return and refund policy: again, strive to be as clear and complete as possible about your policy. What does your customer have to do to return something and/or get a refund? 

*The maximum length for each of the three MSFs is 5000 characters.
