DutchBulbs is the expert in selling high-quality Dutch flower bulbs online. With a wide assortment, competitive value for money and delivery throughout Europe, the company has established itself as a reliable supplier in a seasonally sensitive niche.

Before partnering with Brandsom, DutchBulbs was already selling on Amazon, but sales were running into a ceiling. Due to lack of time and specific knowledge in integration, content and advertising, growth stagnated.

The choice to work with Brandsom was strategic: with a complete external team of specialists, DutchBulbs could scale up without hiring additional staff.

Goals & Approach

The main goal was clear: structural annual sales growth, with a triple digit increase within two years. In addition, DutchBulbs wanted to expand its reach within Europe through Amazon, Bol.com and various niche marketplaces.

To achieve those goals, Brandsom proposed a scalable approach, fully attuned to the seasonal dynamics of flower bulbs. Crucial to this was the timing and content of the content strategy: because trends change seasonally, data analysis and keyword optimization was started shortly before each season.

During the season, this optimization was repeated twice, each time based on current search data and performance. This kept DutchBulbs relevant and easy to find in a rapidly changing search environment.

Implementation

The implementation was done in phases. First, all integration issues were solved and the full assortment was put live on Amazon, Bol and smaller platforms. Then the real optimization work began.

Brandsom implemented a complete Sponsored Ads strategy, tailored to the entire assortment. Each category received specific keyword targeting to achieve maximum visibility. Dynamic budget allocation, retargeting and defensive campaigns were used to remain dominant on branded search terms as well.

Results
